breaking the silencecontradicting thoughts confuse me today the girlfriend went out with her med school friends to party i've met them, most of them mild types, i gave her a call, since she told me to, and not 3 mins into the conversation one of her guy friends drunk apparently, came over. something happened. line was cut. i was mad. i probably shouldnt be. was i jealous? random thoughts raced through my brains should you really be out there at 1am with your drunk friends? why even ask me to call if you're not really free to talk? envy's not something any guy would be proud to admit having. and its strange and stupid. since i know that i dont love her the way i've loved many others not that i dont love her at all, mind you. comparatively, i dont love her enough. at least i dont think i love her enough. maybe she feels it too. and she called back. and it started drizzling. just a little. i used that as an excuse to hang up. and save for the mp3 player its silence once more in a rain too rare for sound and songs cease sounding pleasant. |
